I have an exciting announcement to make!

As you are reading this on my brand new site, you can see that I’ve had a makeover! A bit of virtual nip/tuck here and there to make even better and have a new focus for the future. Have a look at my video which tells you what I’ve been up to!

This site has been a long time in the planning and I’m still transitioning posts over from the old server to this new one, adding some final flourishes and upgrading some of my photography but pretty soon, I’ll be up to full speed on this blog and I can’t wait for you to come with me! (Note: As of July 2025 the site is now fully up to speed! The ‘old’ URL points to this fab new look website)

Because I want to create the kind of content that you want and need in the future, I produced a reader survey to find out what you want from a blog and I learned a lot from the responses to my 20 questions. One lucky winner was drawn and won £50 of shopping vouchers as a reward for entering!

Thank you to my loyal readers for sticking with me over the last few years and I promise to make even better in the future. The best way I can do that is by knowing what you want so don’t be shy and do leave a comment!
